About Parallel Space - app cloning
Parallel Space runs a second copy of an app on the same phone, so you can be signed in to two accounts at once — two WhatsApp numbers, two game accounts, a work and a personal login.
Check whether you need it first
Many Android phones now include this natively. Samsung calls it Dual Messenger, Xiaomi calls it Dual Apps, and several other manufacturers ship an equivalent. The built-in version is better in every respect: it is integrated with the system, does not carry advertising, and does not add a third party between you and your account.
Look in Settings and search for “dual” before installing anything.
If your phone lacks it
Parallel Space works by running the cloned app inside its own container. That has consequences worth understanding:
- The cloned app runs with the container’s permissions, not its own. You are trusting Parallel Space with whatever the cloned app can access — including messages and account credentials.
- Notifications from cloned apps are less reliable, because Android’s background limits apply to the container rather than to each app.
- Banking and some messaging apps detect the container and refuse to run.
Sensible use
Cloning a game or a secondary social account is low-risk. Cloning anything holding money or private conversation puts a third-party app in the middle of it. That is the line worth drawing.
